One Mountain Cannnot Hide Two Tigers?

ZenTrader's Note: All the while the logical thinking that I have is that Sugar King with Pos Holding co-owned Tranmil is a positive factor but maybe I was wrong as old Chinese saying was that in One Mt you cannot hide Two Tigers. On the chart I was thinking the MA50 & MA100 will do the Golden Crossing but it turned out that it turned downward near that GC Point. Last thing that really caught me is the MACD Divergence that technically to mean that the downward pressure is easing in strength. Somehow one readear Mr Fedex (I think he know alot about this co) hinted me that if the key is the landing right why don't they make money since day one? I still buy the theory that the most valuable asset in Tranmil is the landing rights but the most negative factor maybe it is because of this One Mt Two Tigers kind of thing? Maybe one day they have to quietly collect the shares & see which one tiger can talk louder? Happy reading.

The I Ching Binary System And Natural Phenomena

The "I Ching" stresses the importance of relationships created by corresponding lines: 1-4, 2-5, and 3-6; the first line of the lower trigram corresponds with the first line of the upper trigram and so on. The corresponding line-relationships are the key to this analogy. Two trigrams unite to form a hexagram. The three sets of corresponding lines interact to bind the hexagram together. The four corresponding two-line units are attributed to the amino acids. On the following pages you will see the method I devised to arrive at these conclusions. (read more...)

SC probing MEMS for possible irregularities

Credit Suisse, which previously had an "outperform" recommendation on the shares with a target price of RM1.06, dropped coverage on the stock yesterday. OSK Investment Research downgraded the stock to "sell" from "neutral" before, with a target of 29 sen while Kenanga Investment Research cut it to a "hold". (Source: Business Times Online)

Cash vs. Accrual Accounting
In a nutshell, these methods differ only in the timing of when transactions, including sales and purchases, are credited or debited to your accounts. The accrual method is the more commonly used method of accounting. (read more...)

ZenTrader's Note: I am not here to prove that TA is better than FA but rather to show that Stock Market is basically a number game so in my opinion any method will work as long as you know the weakness of the method of your choice. As you can see in this real life case study, even big boy analyst such as Credit Suisse can also be misled by the financial figures because even Accounting Experts themselves cannot agree upon among themselves should they use Cash or Accrual Basis or should they adopt Historical Cost Method or so on. Simply speaking, just like TA, FA is more an Arts rather than rocket science.

FOOTPRINTS LITERACY: THE EGG THAT PRECEDED THE HEN

Hunters invented prehistoric art, and the hunter's chief skill is not killing but tracking; this is the ability to decipher the enormous plurality of marks that make up his environment. Footprints are one of the most important kinds of marks that the hunters of all times must have been acquainted with, for as a rule it is easier to find footprints than to find the animals that leave these footprints. Very great expertise in deciphering marks is a necessary condition for the hunter's existence both in securing food for himself and his family and furthermore not to become himself food for another animal.

The awareness of the cognitive mechanisms involved in footprints literacy makes obligatory a theory of a level of conceptualization and abstraction that is quite high even today, when our thinking is much more conceptual than visual. It is therefore obvious that the cognitive mechanisms involved in footprints literacy among hunters of all times, are mostly unconscious. (read more ...)

Proton

ZenTrader's Note: Technically I think Proton is trading near chart bottom as historically speaking when the RSI hits near 20 or below, someone will enter the market to engineer a rally with some positive corporate news. Do I buy the turnaround story? The answer is NO as Proton doesn't have the economies of scale to produce quality car at competitive price. I think a matter of time it will become a M&A hot play again. Maybe this time instead of someone buyout our National Car Maker, why not for our National Car Maker to buyout someone else in order to create the critical mass (taking cue from DiGi/TDC deal)? Proton (5304) is now trading at RM4.04 per share. Happy reading.

Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix

The main focus of the series is the Omnitrix, a watch-like alien device found by Ben in the first episode. Using it, Ben can transform into a number of different aliens, which he uses to battle the various villains in the series. As explained in the show, the Omnitrix works by binding alien DNA to Ben's, transforming him into the alien of his choice for a short period and then reverting him back to normal. Synergy Drive reference price fixed at RM8.90
Based on the 6.02 billion ordinary shares of 50 sen each issued by Synergy Drive, its market capitalisation would be RM53.62 billion when it is listed on the Main Board on Nov 30. Analysts’ consensus is that the fair value for Synergy Drive’s shares is RM11.75, based on the positive outlook for the group’s plantations, property, heavy machinery and the oil and gas segments. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is scheduled to launch the new logo for Synergy Drive on Nov 28. (read more...)

ZenTrader's Note: Just like the cartoon series Ben10 and his Omnitrix, I think with the listing of Synergy Drive will transform the DNA of Bursa Malaysia into a more powerful figure. Happy reading.

Capitulation

In the stock market, capitulation is associated with "giving up" any previous gains in stock price as investors sell equities in an effort to get out of the market and into less risky investments. True capitulation involves extremely high volume and sharp declines. It usually is indicated by panic selling.

After capitulation selling, it is thought that there are great bargains to be had. The belief is that everyone who wants to get out of a stock, for any reason (including forced selling due to margin calls), has sold. The price should then, theoretically, reverse or bounce off the lows. In other words, some investors believe that true capitulation is the sign of a bottom. (Source: Investopedia)

Lotus Cars

In 1986 the company was bought by General Motors. On August 27, 1993, GM sold the company, for £30 million, to A.C.B.N. Holdings S.A. of Luxembourg, a company controlled by Italian businessman Romano Artioli, who also owned Bugatti Automobili SpA. In 1996 a majority share in Lotus was sold to Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd (Proton), a Malaysian car company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange.

The company also acts as an engineering consultancy, providing engineering development - particularly of suspension - for other car manufacturers. The lesser known Powertrain department is responsible for the design and development of the 4 cylinder engine found in many of GM's Vauxhall, Opel, Saab, and possibly some Saturn cars.

BEIJING, Sept. 18, 2007 -- China will require 3,400 new airplanes worth about $340 billion over the next 20 years, according to The Boeing Company's [NYSE: BA] updated annual forecast for the commercial airplane market. The complete forecast, known as the Boeing Current Market Outlook, is available on the Boeing Web site. Over the forecast period, China will have the fastest-growing market, making it the largest market outside of the U.S. for new commercial airplanes. With China's cargo markets leading the global industry, Chinese air carriers will add about 300 freighter airplanes by 2026. Its total fleet of freighter airplanes will more than quadruple in size. (Source: Boeing)

According to the General Administration for Civil Aviation of China (CAAC), the volume of air cargo in the country will rise at a compound annual rate of 12% over the next five years, following 13.6% growth over the previous five.
